The Alexander Brown House in Syracuse, New York is a Romanesque Revival sandstone and tile home built in 1895. It was the home of Alexander T. Brown, co-founder of Brown-Lipe-Chapin Company, a firm that was absorbed into General Motors.〔Alexander Brown House, at Syracuse Then And Now; see External links〕 Brown was a successful inventor and manufacturer.
